Violet is a sophomore who is double majoring in Neuroscience and Spanish. She joined Mentality to help raise awareness about mental health issues on campus and to also connect with others who share her passion for promoting wellbeing. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, attending sporting events, talking to family and friends, and trying new types of coffee.

Athena is a junior majoring in Psychology. She joined Mentality to learn more about the magazine-production process and for the opportunity to make art related to psychology. Through Mentality, she hopes to spread awareness about mental wellness and connect with peers who share the same passion. Outside of school, she loves traveling, café hopping, and binging shows with friends.
Daniel Lee

Daniel is a junior majoring in Public Health Sciences with a minor in Statistics. He joined Mentality in hopes to learn more about other students' perspectives on issues involving mental health and further spread awareness on the importance of self-care during college. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, swimming, and spending time with his friends.
Paige Egner

Paige is a sophomore majoring in Psychology and minoring in Community Action and Social Change. In the future, she wants to be a mental health counselor. She is from Livonia, MI. Her goal in joining Mentality was help provide a creative outlet for those who are passionate about mental health and wellness. In her free time, she loves to read, drink chai, pet her dogs, and listen to music.
Lauren Chi

Lauren is a sophomore double majoring in English and Biology, Health, & Society (BHS). She wanted to join Mentality because she appreciates how Mentality Magazine is a community where we can be vulnerable and address our mental health through creating cool art and written work. Outside of school, she enjoys reading/creative writing, playing piano and marimba, cooking, and going for long walks with friends.
Matan Silverberg
Assistant Design Editor
Matan Silverberg is from Washington, D.C., and is a rising sophomore studying economics and psychology. He is ecstatic to be serving on the Mentality Executive Board as an Assistant Design Editor. He believes tremendously in the value of discussion around psychology and mental health, and will do his best to ensure that Mentality is a platform that people will turn to for stories that resonate. When he is not contributing to Mentality, one can find him running, swimming, or hanging out with his three younger siblings. He is a die-hard Commanders fan and is always open to talking DC sports.
